California drivers are getting hit hard at the gas pump.
According to data from AAA, California's average cost per gallon of gas has reached $6.02.
This means the state has the highest average per gallon in the U.S.
The average cost per gallon nationwide, meanwhile, has hit a record high at $4.52.
