(Green) - As you can see in the video, there was a fiery crash Thursday morning on I-77 in Green, in Summit County..
According to ODOT District 4 Deputy Director Gery Noirot, the highway technician was hit along I-77, and was taken to the hospital, where he was being treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries. He went on to say ODOT is fortunate that he is alive, as there could have been a different outcome.
As for the dump truck driver, he is also in the hospital.
Summit County deputies are investigating why the dump truck went off the road.
