Guardians Hold Off B-Jays 6-5

Guardians held off a Toronto comeback attempt in a 6-5 win over the Blue Jays at Progressive Field. Steven Kwan launched a two-run home run to tie the game at two in the third inning. A three-run fifth inning gave the Guardians a big enough lead to reach the finish line with the victory. Franmil Reyes had three hits in the victory. Aaron Civale picked up the win after allowing four runs in five-and-two-thirds innings. Emmanuel Clase earned his fifth save of the season. The 12-and-13 Guardians will try to get back to .500 when they send Shane Bieber to the mound against the Blue Jays tonight.
