Guardians Win 6-5 In 10 Innings To Split Doubleheader

Cleveland Guardians are treading water in the AL Central. They split their doubleheader with the San Diego Padres at Progressive Field yesterday, losing game one 5-4 and winning the second game 6-5 in ten innings. In the first game, Zach Plesac was tagged with his third loss after allowing four earned runs and one unearned run in five innings. In game two, Steven Kwan hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the tenth inning to secure the win. Nick Sandlin earned his second win of the season out of the bullpen. The Guardians are now 11-and-13, and they send Aaron Civale to the mound tomorrow when they host the Toronto Blue Jays tonight.
