Most Wanted: Joshua Martinez Turns Himself Into Lorain Police

UPDATE 5/3/22 - Homicide suspect Joshua Martinez turned himself in at the Lorain County jail on Monday night. He's suspected of killing Gerardo Massari of Lorain. The Lorain Police are not seeking any additional suspects at this time.

LORAIN, OH - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive, Joshua Martinez. Martinez is wanted by the United States Marshals Service and the Lorain Police Department for homicide. Lorain Police say on April 30th around 10 p.m. they responded to the alley behind the 1200 block of Oberlin Ave. for a male who had been shot. Once on scene officers located shooting victim 37-year-old Gerardo Massari of Lorain who was transported to Lorain Mercy Hospital, where he died of his wounds. 

Martinez, 24, is a white male, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches and weighing about 126 lbs. He was last known to be living in the Lorain and Cleveland, Ohio areas. Martinez is presumed to be armed and dangerous.
