BROOK PARK - NASA Glenn has opened a new Research Support Building earlier this year with 160 office spaces and with plans to open an Aerospace Communication Facility in the fall in an effort to modernize the facility which opened in 1942.

"This space has state of the art technology that allows us to work in the way employees are now working," says Jan Wittry, News Chief at NASA Glenn Research Center. "Sometime in the office and sometimes virtually, collaborating virtually quite a bit with employees at other NASA centers and in private industry."

NASA plant to open a new Aerospace Communication Facility -- part of their master plan -- scheduled for completion in the fall.

"I think the government's investment in this new building and also upgrading our infrastructure really shows the health of the center and it shows our strategic importance to NASA's mission and vision," said Wittry.

The center will announce a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the coming months for the RSB.
