The search is continuing for a man who jumped off a Carnival cruise ship about 55 miles east of Port Canaveral on Saturday.
Reports came in at 12:45 a.m. of a man in his 40s who jumped from the Carnival Cruise Line ship Mardi Gras, coast guard leaders report.
Officials say the man was still unaccounted for today as the U.S. Coast Guard worked to find him.
The Mardi Gras ship docked at Port Canaveral on Saturday morning before departing on another cruise as scheduled.
A spokesperson for Carnival Cruise Lines said today, "The Carnival Care Team is supporting the guest’s family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the guest and his family."
