Providence House Breaks Ground On New East Campus

Providence House broke ground on a new location at 11 am Friday. This location will make it easier for families on the East Side of Cleveland to receive help. When asked about the second location being on the East Side, Province House President and CEO Natalie Leek said "We have to go where the children are that need us". In the past five years, Providence House has seen an increase of 200% in their West Campus in Ohio City. Nearly 70% of those children are from the city's East Side.

The new Providence House location will make it easier for children and mothers in the Buckeye-Shaker Neighborhood to receive the assistance they need. The new building will be located at 11018 Buckeye Road. The new 20-bed Crisis Nursery will provide emergency shelter for 240 more children and support nearly 400 more families each year. The East Campus will also include a Family Resiliency Center and Community Hub. Construction on the East Campus is expected to be complete by spring of 2023.
