ESPN is reporting that Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield asked for a trade but that Cleveland denied his request. Mayfield told ESPN that, "The relationship is too far gone to mend. It's in the best interests of both sides to move on." This comes after Cleveland was reportedly interested in trading for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. Mayfield struggled last season after suffering a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder early in the year.
