Daniel Glenn Arrested For Thanksgiving Day Double Murder

Cleveland, Ohio– Early Tuesday morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Daniel Joseph Glenn, 31. Glenn was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for 2 counts of murder.

In the early hours of Thanksgiving Day, Cleveland Police responded to the area of West 47th St. and Denison Ave. after hearing several gun shots. When officers arrived, they observed two unknown men running on Hannon Dr., they then entered a dark colored sedan and fled the area. Officers located Daniel Scholz, 35, and Kara Odom, 26, both with several gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Members of the task force worked closely with Cleveland Police once a suspect was identified. The suspect, Daniel Glenn, was located by the task force this morning at a home in the 2600 block of Apple Ave. in Lorain. Glenn was arrested without incident and will be booked into the Cuyahoga County Jail.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “The Cleveland Police and our task force worked diligently to identify this suspect and then bring him into custody. Thanksgiving last year was a violent day in the city of Cleveland, this is the second arrest of suspects wanted for separate Thanksgiving Day murders.”
