Howard Hesseman, who notably played DJ Johnny Fever on the sitcom WKRP In Cincinnati, is dead at the age of 81. Hesseman died on Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Los Angeles after complications from colon surgery. Hesseman also played history teacher Charlie Moore on the ABC comedy Head of the Class, with more recent guest spots on That 70's Show and Fresh Off the Boat. His work on WKRP In Cincinnati brought him Emmy nominations and 1980 and '81.
