(Cleveland) - Police are hoping they can stop a string of robberies in the Little Italy neighborhood, all in similar situations.
Cleveland Police say at least four young women have been robbed at gunpoint in recent weeks in Little Italy. In each robbery, at least one teen aged black man pointed at the women a black handgun with a green laser target pointer on it.
In the most recent incident, on Monday, the victim was shot and wounded. Police say the wound is non-fatal.
Cleveland Police believe these incidents are connected, and they are looking for information about suspects. If you have information, you can call the Third District at 216-623-5318. You can also call in information anonymously to Crimestoppers at 216-25-CRIME. A cash reward of up to $5,000 may be available through Crimestoppers.
