(Columbus, OH) - The Ohio National Guard is ramping up its efforts statewide to help ease the strain on healthcare workers caused by the rising COVID numbers.
Major General John C. Harris, Jr., gave an update on their status earlier today.
He says they're aiming to have 150 EMTs up and running by Thursday, with 900 other Guard members serving in support positions.
Harris also addressed the overwhelming response at a testing site in Cleveland earlier today, saying they're looking at more ways to accommodate Ohioans who want to get tested.
