(Cleveland) - Because so many Browns players have been put on the COVID Protocol list, the Cleveland Browns-Las Vegas Raiders game, to have been played Saturday, has been postponed until Monday at 5 p.m.
The game will be seen nationally on NFL Network, and locally on WOIO-TV, both of which were to have carried the game on Sunday.
In addition, the NFL has postponed the Washington Football Team-Philadelphia Eagles game, and the Seattle Seahawks-Los Angeles Rams game until Tuesday, also because of the number of players unable to play.
/The NFL says th changes were made based on medical advice, and also after discussion with the NFL Players Association. This, as the nation is seeing new, highly transmissible forms of the COVID virus in the past week.
Eight more Browns players were added to the COVID protocol list on Friday afternoon, including running back Kareem Hunt, bringing the total on the list to 20. In addition, head coach Kevin Stefanski and two other coaches have tested positive.
