JACKSONVILLE, Florida (WTVN)--Former Ohio State Football Coach Urban Meyer is out as Head Coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, after less than a full season in the NFL.
Meyer went 2-11 as the head coach, with his tenure marred by reports of turmoil in the locker room, and the latest report from the Tampa Bay Times says he kicked a former Jags player in the preseason.
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Jags had enough evidence to fire him for cause.
Meyer was the Head Coach at Ohio State from 2012 to 2018, going 83-9, with three Big Ten Championships, and the National Championship in 2014.
