CLEVELAND – Coats for Kids distributed new coats on Tuesday to all students at Mary B. Martin School, a pre-K through 8th grade school that is part of Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The new coats were paid for in part by Chick-fil-A Cleveland/Akron/Canton through the sale of individual and 6 pack of chocolate chunk cookies.

And for the second year in a row, Rockport Ready Mix, a local concrete supplier, made a $10,000 donation to Coats for Kids to sponsor a school coat event. That distribution will take place on Wednesday, December 15th at Artemus Ward School, another pre-K through 8th grade school in the Cleveland District.

Coats for Kids also works with the Say Yes program, which is funded by College Now and currently has family support specialists in 66 Cleveland Metropolitan schools.
