Cleveland School Bus Catalytic Converters Stolen

Cleveland, OH - About 200 students were affected this Monday following a theft impacting the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. School officials say the catalytic converters were stolen over the weekend from 35 school buses.

Tom Ott, the Interim Deputy Chief of Communications, says thieves allegedly took the catalytic converters from buses parked at the bus depot on East 49th street in Cuyahoga Heights

The thefts are believed to have happened on Sunday or early Monday morning. It impacted 12 public and private schools which affected over 200 students. No further information of the theft but surveillance is being reviewed.
