Gov DeWine Visits CLE to Provide Update on Innovation District

(Cleveland, Ohio) - Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jon Husted, and JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef visited Cleveland this morning to give an update on the progress of the Cleveland Innovation District since its launch in January 2021. 

"The Cleveland Clinic has already filled 300 new positions with a seven-year commitment of a thousand new jobs that is directly related to the Cleveland innovation District," Governor DeWine said while speaking at the Samson Pavilion (Health Education Campus of Case Western Reserve and Cleveland Clinic), 9501 Euclid Avenue, in Cleveland.

Following the update, a panel discussion took place with leaders from Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland State University, MetroHealth, and University Hospitals.
