Cleveland, OH – Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced, on Thursday, that a Cuyahoga County grand jury has returned an indictment charging 29-year-old Robert Shepard for the murder of 24-year-old Frank Q. Jackson in September 2021.
On September 19, 2021, Jackson was dropped off by a third party near Sidaway Avenue and East 70th Street in Cleveland. Robert Shepard lured the victim to the area where he was shot by another unidentified individual. Both individuals fled the scene. The Cleveland Division of Police and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and the victim was pronounced deceased.
Robert Shepard has been indicted on the following charges:
- One count of Aggravated Murder
- One count of Murder
- Two counts of Felonious Assault
He is currently being held at the Cuyahoga County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond. He will be arraigned at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center at a later date.
