Cleveland Trick-or-Treat Times and Alternative Events

(Cleveland, OH) - With only two weeks left to go before Halloween weekend, Cuyahoga County communities are announcing trick-or-treating and alternate events.

The following communities are inviting residents to hand out candy on Sunday, October 31st from 6 to 8 p.m.

Bay Village, Beachwood, Bedford, Bedford Heights, Berea, Breksville, Broadview Heights, Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Brook Park, Chagrin Falls, Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Euclid, Fairview Park, Garfield Heights, Highland Heights, Independence, Lakewood, Lyndhurst, Mayfield Village, Middleburgh Heights, North Olmsted, North Ridgeville, North Royalton, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township, Orange Village, Parma, Parma Heights, Pepper Pike, Richomond Heights, Rocky River, Seven Hills, Solon, Strongsville, University Heights, Valley View, Warrensville Heights, Westlake.

The following communities are either exceptions to the rule or have not announced times to collect candy for the holiday:

  • Bratenahl does not offer trick-or-treating
  • Cuyahoga Heights will host on Oct. 31 from 6 to 7 p.m.
  • Gates Mills does not observe traditional candy-giving but will host a trick-or-treating drive-thru event at its Community Center on Oct. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Hunting Valley does not offer trick-or-treating
  • Maple Heights will not offer trick-or-treating this year
  • Mayfield Heights will hold a Trunk or Treat event on Oct. 23 between 10 and 11 a.m. at its city park parking lot
  • Oakwood Village residents can hand out candy at their own discretion on Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Shaker Heights will host on Oct. 31 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • South Euclid will not offer trick-or-treating this year
