(Cleveland) - Police, fire, and EMS dispatchers have a tough job, but sometimes, they also have to take over for safety forces who can't make it there in time.
There's a dispatcher at the heights Hillcrest Communications Center serving some eastern suburbs of Cleveland, by the name of Tom. According to the Communications Center's Facebook page, Tom took a call on Oct 1 from a father whose wife was ready to give birth. Tom called for an ambulance, but the baby couldn't wait, so he told the father how to deliver his new daughter.
Tom was rewarded with a Stork Pin, the third one given out by the Communications Center in the past three years.
