Annual Tree Lighting on Public Square Set for Saturday November 27th.

(Cleveland, OH) - The Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA) will be marking the official start to the holiday season with the annual tree lighting on Public Square set for Saturday November 27th. This event will kickoff a citywide season on Winterfest celebrations.

Held the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the holiday event will include marquee musical performances and appearances from Santa Claus, live and interactive visual arts demonstrations, ice skating, carriage rides, food trucks, fire pits and more.

Following the tree lighting event, DCA and a variety of partners will present an immersive, citywide, and winter’s long experience for Clevelanders, activating the community to embrace culture and commerce.

The schedule of seasonal programming will take place on select Saturdays between December 4th and February 27th, with countless opportunities to celebrate the culturally rich, and family friendly experiences that showcase the best of Cleveland.

All attendees will be required to follow local health department and CDC guidelines throughout the duration of the events.
