Cleveland, OH - Union Home Mortgage (UHM) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, on Thursday, to unveil the third building on its corporate headquarters campus in Strongsville that will make way for the creation of 450 new jobs in a variety of career fields.
The new building will increase the size of its HQ campus to more than 120,000 square feet and features amenities including an onsite gym and cafeteria and will have dedicated space for corporate trainings and ongoing education for its Partners locally, as well as virtually across their national footprint.
Union Home Mortgage CEO and Chairman, Bill Cosgrove, talked about the company's new building, "In today's workforce environment, we are all competing for talent and competing for people. At the end of the day, I think everyone wants a dynamic work environment. The old stagnant office doesn't cut it these days. People want activity, they want a campus, they want a community, they want a work community and between the restaurant, the workout facilities, the other things we have here, it's exciting. People want to be a part of something larger than themselves and we think we have a great answer here."
Cosgrove adds, "One of the things that excites me most about our new building, is that people with be flown into Cleveland from all over the country to interview here and eventually train here in Strongsville. So people from all over, who may not know anything about Cleveland, will get to come here to experience it."
This new dedicated education center will provide extensive training and help further develop the career paths of its more than 1,800 Partners nationwide.
