Third Federal front lawn
Cleveland, OH - Third Federal held a ceremony, on Wednesday, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The short service was followed by the placement of 2,977 American flags on the front lawn of its corporate headquarters at 7007 Broadway Avenue in Cleveland.
Located along the heavily used Broadway Avenue corridor and Aetna Road, the flags will serve as a solemn reminder to those passing by of the events of Tuesday, September 11, 2001.
“We recognize 9/11 as a day that changed our country and all of us,” said Marc A. Stefanski, Chairman and CEO. “It is appropriate and important that, on this 20th anniversary, we take the time to remember those who lost their lives on that day.”
The flags will remain on the lawn through Sunday, September 12.
