Cleveland, OH - The Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League, The Land’s newest professional team which opens play at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center in early November, have announced that the team’s 2021 local open tryout will take place on Saturday, September 25th from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
In alignment with the Charge team’s hard-working, energetic and opportunistic personality, combined with being an accessible and engaged group both on and off the court, open tryout players will have the special chance to show they deserve a spot on the team. The Charge coaching staff will lead participants through a multi-faceted workout experience designed to provide a comprehensive evaluation. Participants will also be broken up into smaller groups for individual skill work and game simulation drills throughout the session.
The tryout is open to the first 40 NBA G League eligible players who complete the entire registration process, including being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. A maximum of four players from the tryout are eligible to earn an invite to Charge Training Camp without having to declare for the 2021 NBA G League Draft.
Participants can begin the registration process by clicking here.
The tryout will be closed to the public.
