(Elyria) - There's a call for a Lorain County Commissioner to resign, and it's coming from the other Republican on the County Board of Commissioners.
Lorain County Commissioner David Moore is asking fellow Republican Michelle Hung to "gracefully" resign her position, after Hung admitted she had a romantic affair with a subordinate, county 911 Director Harry Williamson. Earlier this month, Moore and Democratic Commissioner Matt Lundy voted to terminate Williamson. Hung abstained on that vote.
In a statement given to the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram,Moore said it was time for Hung to resign, calling her behavior "an embarrassment and a distraction." No comment yet from Commissioner Hung.
