(Willoughby Hills) - It's that time of year, when young black bears have been kicked out of the nest by their mothers, and they road around, looking for territory to call their own, as well as to find something to eat. Willoughby Hills police say a surveillance video of a homeowner's backyard caught a young black bear, looking for something to eat.
The Willoughby Hills Police say in a Facebook post that Lake County is one of the more common places to find black bears. Their advice is to leave the animal alone. It's also suggested that you bring in bird feeders, clean the grease off your grill, and secure your garbage cans. If you see a bear, you can scare it away by making noise and raising your arms, to appear larger.
