Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Indians today announced the baseball themed Inaugural Grand Slam Beerfest at Progressive Field on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Fans will be able to choose between two different sessions to sample over 150 Craft Beers, Wines and Cocktails while checking out the ballpark. The new event, in partnership with Cleveland Beerfest and benefitting The Music Settlement of Cleveland, will celebrate Cleveland’s brewing history and future. Tickets will go on sale to the General Public on May 10 at Indians.com/beerfest.
“We are excited to bring such a fun and unique experience to Progressive Field, and to partner with the Cleveland Beerfest folks who have been at this since 2013,” said Director of Special Events Caitlyn Burkart. “It also gives us another great benefit for our Season Ticket Holders who will have priority access to purchase tickets and receive a discount. We hope to see this become a great annual special event for all to enjoy!”
Attendees get to walk around the ballpark and select drink samples from the tables of local Breweries and Distilleries. There are 3 Ticket Types available, and all receive 25 sampling tickets with each ticket being good for one (1) pour (5oz. for beer/less for cocktails). General Admission, which costs $45, allows admission for a 3-hour event from 2-5pm or 8-11pm. The Early Admission level ticket, which costs $70,allows buyers to get in one hour early and will be able to walk down onto the warning track for more beers to try and photo opportunities! The SuperFan level ticket buyers, which costs $95, will have photo opportunities at Home Plate! See website for details.
“We’re in the process of inviting all of the local and regional breweries and building our sampling list. We are SO excited to get back to gathering together in fun environments, and Progressive Field is the perfect backdrop to do that!
