Cavaliers Comeback Falls Short, Magic Snap 6-Game Losing Streak

CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cavaliers came out of the gates ice cold, missing their first 8 three point attempts before falling behind by as much as 13 points. Orlando kept the foot on the gas pedal, expanding their lead by as much as 23 points. The Cavaliers made a late push, cutting the deficit down to a tie game, before falling to the Magic by the final score of 109-104.

Orlando rookie guard Cole Anthony led the charge for the Magic down the stretch, scoring Orlando's last 8 points to help secure the win. Chuma Okeke had a huge night, scoring 18 points while lighting up the net for 3 threes.

The Cavaliers continue to struggle in what has been a rough 2021 season, falling to the second worst record in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland will take Thursday off before continuing their home stand against the red hot Washington Wizards. Friday's game is set for a 7:30 tip-off at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
