Cavaliers Roll Past Thunder 129-102

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Thursday night's match up between the Cavaliers and Thunder featured two young and hungry teams, and both came out of the gates on fire. In a back and forth first half, the Cavaliers had the slight edge in a 65-61 game. Cleveland sharpened up their defense in the second half to get ahead early on in the third quarter and they never looked back, cruising to a 129-102 win over the Thunder.

Despite not having Nance Jr or Jarrett Allen, the Cavaliers found a way to make a difference on the defensive end of the floor. The pesky Cavaliers forced the Thunder into 15 turnovers, including 8 total steals.

Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton led all scorers with 27 points on 9-17 shooting from the field. Veteran forward Kevin Love coninues to help a young Cavaliers squad, as he contributed 18 points and 11 boards. Second year guard Darius Garland scored 21 points for Cavaliers, while 6th man Taurean Prince chipped in 22 points off the bench.

The Cavaliers move to a 19-32 record following Thursday's victory over the Thunder. Cleveland will take Friday off before hosting the Toronto Raptors on Saturday night. Tip-off is set for 7:30 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out highlights from tonight's game below!
