(Lakewood) - 23-year-old Selena Colon will have her case go before a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury, after she waived her right to a preliminary hearing in Lakewood Municipal Court.
Colon was arrested February 23rd after Lakewood Police say she hit another vehicle with her car, killing Max Close and Alejandro Mercado, both 19 years old. Police say Colon was driving about 80 MPH along Clifton Boulevard, which has a speed limit of 35. She is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
