(Akron) - There's a search underway for a missing Akron man with dementia. Police say that 67-year-old Jerry Schwalbach drove away from his home early Tuesday morning, and didn't come back home. Police are worried for Schwalbach's safety, as he has dementia.
Schwalbach is 5'10", weighs 185, and has gray hair and gren eyes. He was last seen wearing black plaid pajamas. He was last seen at home on Manchester Road in Akron about 2:47 a.m. Tuesday.
He was likely driving a red 2008 Ford Taurus, license plate JFL7582.
