(Cleveland) - Plans for a new terminal at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport are being finished, according to airport director Robert Kennedy.
Kennedy told City Council that this obviously isn't the best time to talk about a $1 billion update for the airport, given the flat curve in the traveling industry due to the pandemic. However, Kennedy wants to have airlines pick up most of the cost.
The work on new designs for the terminal at Hopkins started before the pandemic began.
The project would likely be done in phases, with start dates tied to increasing numbers of passengers.
