ROCKY RIVER, OH - Rocky River and Lakewood Firefighters responded to a fire early Friday morning at Mason Auto Body and Mechanical on Lake Road just east of Linda Street. The building has historical significance. It was the former home of the Cowan Pottery Studios during the 1920’s through the Great Depression. Many pieces of Cowan Pottery are featured at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the investigation is under investigation.
