Indians Want Your Input On Name Change

(Cleveland) - What would you like to see as the new name, and identity, of the Cleveland Indians? the team has set up a website, where fans can learn more about the reasons for a name change, and register with the team to volunteer to take part in research.

The Indians have decided to make the name change after more than 100 years because, as team owner Paul Dolan said, there are differing views about the name, and the team felt it would be best if there were a new name that would unify the community. The team had already retired the Chief Wahoo logo.

The name change will take effect after the 2021 season.
