(Cleveland) - Cleveland Police are investigating the discovery of a man's body under a burning mattress on the city's west side.
Police say that just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, they were called out to the corner of West 41st and Train Avenue in Ohio City, where they were met by members of Cleveland Fire. Fire was called out for a report of a vehicle on fire. When firefighters arrived, they saw a mattress on fire. After putting that fire out, a man's body was found underneath.
The Police Homicide Unit, and the Fire Division's Arson Unit are both investigating. Nobody has been arrested. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner will determine the man's identity, and how he died.
Police are asking anyone with information to call detectives at 216-623-5464, and anonymous tips can be called into Crimestoppers at 216-25-CRIME.
