Cleveland's Mayor Receives First Vaccination

(Cleveland) - Mayor Frank Jackson took off his shirt on Saturday, and received his first vaccination for COVID-19.

The event was confirmed on the City Hall Facebook page. It said the vaccine as administered to the mayor by Crystal Banks, a Cleveland Department of Public Health nurse. It was done at a clinic at the Zelmar George Neighborhood Resource and Recreation Center.

At the present time, any Ohioan over 70 years of age can be vaccinated. The mayor is 74.
