(Oberlin) - The Oberlin City Schools are on lockdown Monday because of a situation that took place on Sunday afternoon.
The Oberlin Schools say that about 4 p.m. Sunday, there was a fight between people that resulted in the firing of a gun. It happened on South Park Street. As of late Sunday night, Oberlin Police were still looking for the suspect. The crime area was put on lockdown,
As a precaution, the Oberlin City Schools are starting school Monday, February 1, on Leven 1 Lodkdown, in which all exterior doors of school buildings will be locked. Parents have the option of having children remain at home and engage in virtual learning.
