Emmanuel Quickley Leads Knicks Past Cavaliers 102-81

NEW YORK CITY, NY -- The Cleveland Cavaliers were ice cold on Friday night, struggling to find their groove throughout the entire game. New York rookie guard Emmanuel Quickley led the charge for the Knickerbockers, scoring scoring 25 points off the bench, including double digit points in the fourth quarter. The Knicks proved to be too much for Cleveland, as the Cavaliers fell by the final score of 102-81.

Emmanuel Quickley was red-hot for the Knicks, knocking down 5 of 8 three balls including two and-ones from beyond the arc. Julius Randall, another Kentucky Wildcat product, beat the Cavaliers up in the paint on his way to a 16 point and 8 rebound night. RJ Barrett led all New York starters in points netting a total of 24.

The Cleveland Cavaliers had just 15 total assists, notching their season-low in that category. Second-year guard Darius Garland led the Cavaliers with 25 points, marking his career high. Cavaliers big man Jarrett Allen scored 15 points and secured 9 boards off of the bench in a losing effort for the Cavaliers.

Cleveland gets knocked down to a 9019 record on the year, with the Knicks moving to a 9-11 record. The Cavaliers will travel to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.
