(Lorain) - High speed and reckless driving are to blame in a crash Saturday afternoon in Lorain that killed an Elyria man.
Lorain Police say 33-year-old Richard Webber, driving a Chevy Corvette, was eastbound on State Route 611, and lost control of the car near the intersection with Elyria Avenue. The car went off the right side of the street, hit a guardrail, and the wall of the 21st Street railroad underpass. Webber was dead at the scene of the crash. which happened about 1:1:10 p.m.
