Bernie Sanders started his day by listening to "Wills and Snyder in the Morning" while on his way to WTAM. Bernie arrived at WTAM at approximately 9 am. At which point he stopped in to have a word with Geraldo Rivera.
After sitting in with Geraldo Rivera, Bernie joined Steve Bailey newsman to assist in the preparation of the afternoon newscast.
After assisting in the news room Bernie traveled down to Progressive Field to cheer on the Cleveland Indians.
We all know the saying "If you don't like Cleveland weather, wait five minutes" Bernie experienced this first hand. A lake effect snow storm hit the area as Bernie traveled to First Energy Stadium to watch the Cleveland Browns.
After a Browns win, Bernie headed back to the WTAM Headquarters, in Independence Ohio. Where after a long debate with Carmen Angelo they agreed to disagree and are still friends.
The same can not be said for WTAM host Mike Trivisonno who debated Bernie Sanders from 3pm to 7pm, Sources say conversation moved to "Trivs Restaurant" in Strongsville. The two stopped debating politics, instead debating who would take the check.
After spending a day at WTAM Bernie then attended a Cleveland Cavaliers game at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. After a long day seeing Cleveland's best and brightest, Bernie Sanders sat down to have a great sports discussion.
