(Cleveland) - Police officer Howard Hart, 31, has been fired from the Cleveland Division of Police for a number of on-job violations, including failure to report a use of force incident by another officer in September 2020, and was known to use an illegal drug or substance.
Hart had been with the Cleveland Division of Police since 2015. He had recently been assigned to the Third District, and has been off duty on an extended illness.
According to Hart's termination letter, he had a history of failure to report for mandatory training, was AWOL, and failed to report to the medical unit as ordered.
