County Fair Dates Set For 2021

(Cleveland) - Because of COVID-19 concerns, County fairs in Ohio this year were either canceled, or cut back to only junior fair activities, but the hope is that they'll all be back in 2021.

The Ohio Department of Agriculture on Monday released the schedule for county fairs in 2021. It includes the Cuyahoga County Fair from August 10-15. In 2020, the Cuyahoga County Fair was canceled due to the pandemic.

Other fairs in Greater Cleveland include, Lake and Summit County, July 27-August 1; Medina County, August 2-8; Lorain County August 22-29; Geauga County, September 2-6.

A bill on Governor DeWine's desk would allow the fairs to return in 2021 with full activities. The governor has not said what he plans to do with he bill.
