Cleveland, OH - The Ohio House of Representatives of the 133rd General Assembly has commended the City of Medina for its recognition by Trips to Discover as Ohio’s Most Festive Christmas Town in 2020.
The City of Medina is now in week five of its eight-week celebration of Hometown Holidays kicked off by Candlelight Walk and featuring special events every weekend planned by Main Street Medina and its community partners.
In addition to having a picture perfect downtown, Medina is home to the country’s largest Christmas Museum Castle Noel, a “must-see” experience that draws visitors from across the United States.
“We appreciate the national honor from Trips to Discover and the recognition from our State Ohio House of Representatives."
"It takes a great deal of time and financial commitment from the city, its businesses, Main Street Medina, and Castle Noel to put Medina on the map at Christmastime, but It’s worth it, especially this year, when you see everyone outside, masked up and enjoying themselves,” remarked Mayor Dennis Hanwell.
“We hope everyone will add visiting Medina to their holiday plans.”
