(Cleveland) - If you're angry about slowdowns for mail delivery this holiday season, so are Ohio's US Senators. Cleveland.com contacted both Senator Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and Rob Portman (R-Ohio).
Brown said anyone experiencing mail delivery problems should contact his office, and they will try to determine a solution.
A spokesperson for Portman said the Senator is a co-sponsor of the Postal Service Emergency Assitance Act, to help make sure that the US Postal Service has the money it needs to operate.
The Postal Service has processing centers all over the country filled with mail, which is building up partially due to volume, and partially due to staffing shortages, both in part due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
