Akron Children's May Accept Adult Patients

(Akron) - Because of an expected increase in COVID-19 cases, some area hospitals may take on patients they normally wouldn't.
Hospitals that deal with specialized patients or services may take on COVID-19 patients out of their specialty, simply because there's no room for them at general hospitals.

That's why Akron Children's Hospital is saying, that if they need to, they will now accept COVID-and non-COVID patients up to age 35. This is because of projections that show there will likely still be a post-Thanksgiving surge of patients.
