Cleveland, OH– Cleveland State Men’s Basketball Head Coach Dennis Gates has announced a non-conference contest at Ohio State University on Sunday, December 13that 4 p.m. The contest will be broadcast on Big Ten Network, in addition to 1420 AM (WHK), 102.5 FM and www.whkradio.com.
Sunday’s game against the Buckeyes will be the 10thmeeting all-time between these two programs. The last time Ohio State and Cleveland State met was on November 23, 2018, with Ohio State claiming an 89-62 victory.
Following Cleveland State’s non-conference match against Ohio State, the Vikings will begin Horizon League play on December 19thand December 20th, heading to Robert Morris to take on the newest member of the league. Tipoff for those two games are set for 6 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively.
In order to the provide the safest environment possible for the student-athletes, Cleveland State will begin the 2020-21 season without fans inside the Wolstein Center.
