(Cleveland) - The City of Cleveland is hoping to help restaurants that want to stay in business over the winter, but still deal with rules related to the pandemic. The city will be offering $500,000 in grant money to restaurants so that they can still have outdoor dining options this winter.
The money can be used to rent or purchase things like heaters and fire pits, as well as awnings, tents, and igloos. The restaurants have to prove they have an outdoor area that can be heated and covered.
Applications are due November 30, 2020.
