Wallethub, a personal finance website, ranked smaller cities across the nation by affordability, economic health, education, quality of life, and safety. When narrowed down to the top smaller cities here in Northeast Ohio, the top ten, in order, were:
- Mentor
- Strongsville
- North Ridgeville
- North Royalton
- Medina
- Stow
- Westlake
- Brunswick
- North Olmsted
- Parma
The highest ranked cities in Ohio are the Columbus suburb of Dublin, and the Cincinnati-area town of Mason.
Wallethub ranked 1,200 cities, with populations from 25,000 to 100,000.
