Newsradio WTAM 1100 will have live and local wall to wall coverage of The 2020 Vote on election night starting at 7 p.m. through at least 1 a.m. The news team will not only cover the Presidential race between President Trump and former Vice President Biden, they will follow Northeast Ohio congressional races as Jim Jordan, David Joyce, Marcia Fudge, and Marcy Kaptur are all running for re-election.
Guest commentators and reporters include Geraldo River, Brian Kilmeade from Fox News, Alex Castlellanos, Mark Naymik from 3 News along with reporters embedded at Trump and Biden headquarters.
You’ll hear news updates at the top and bottom of the hour: Tax levy-wise, there's the Cuyahoga County Library, Cleveland Schools, Chagrin Falls Schools, Euclid Schools, Cleveland Heights/University Heights Schools, Fairview Park Schools, Parma Schools, Richmond Heights Schools, Lorain County JVS, and other districts, plus a variety of state and county offices and judgeships to report on.
WTAM’s coverage will be hosted by Dennis Manoloff and Rob Walgate, Tom Moore and Macie Jepson will anchor the newscasts and also working are producers Anthony Alford and Jake Underwood.

Tom Moore has been a broadcast journalist for over 40 years in a number of cities in four states, learning all the idiosyncrasies of each state’s politics. Most of his career has been in Cleveland, where he has been on the air since 1988, first at WERE, and later at WTAM. One of his best memories in covering an election was when he co-hosted WTAM’s coverage of the 2000 “Hanging Chad” election, coverage of which went all night. His first coverage of an election was in 1974, for his college radio station.

Macie Jepson is a veteran broadcaster and multiple Emmy Award-winning journalist. Some of her more interesting political assignments include the Edwin Edwards/David Duke Louisiana gubernatorial race and Al Gore’s campaign headquarters during the 2000 election and subsequent “chad” controversy. In Northeast Ohio, she has called Fox 8, WEWS and WTAM 1100 her professional homes for a span of 16 years.

Dennis Manoloff was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. He’s a graduate of both Bay Village High School Class of 1985 (National Honor Society) and Northwestern University Class of 1989. Manoloff graduated from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism (3.51 GPA) and minored in political science. He’s lifelong friends with Dr. John C. Hulsman, president and managing partner of John C. Hulsman Enterprises, a global political-risk consulting firm.

Rob Walgate joined The American Policy Roundtable in 2003 and currently serves as Vice President. He is the Project Manager of iVoters.com, a non-partisan voter information website. Mr. Walgate is panelist on The Public Square, the national radio program of The American Policy Roundtable. Walgate has been a regular guest on numerous television and radio shows covering the political landscape, including FOX News.

Anthony Alford is the host of Sunday Night with Anthony Alford on WTAM 1100AM/106.9FM and an evening/weekend producer. In an election year defined by COVID-19 and social unrest, Alford’s been on the air reporting the latest news and providing insightful commentary. He co-hosted wall to wall coverage of the George Floyd protests in downtown Cleveland.

Jacob Underwood graduated from Cloverleaf High School in 2011. He began his work in media covering the 2012 presidential campaign of Barack Obama for some local podcasts and blogs. Four years later in 2016 he covered the presidential campaign of Donald Trump. In 2019 Jake began his career at News Radio WTAM as a producer. Then in 2020 Jake continued his education in Politics and Journalism when attended Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government where he received certifications in U.S. History and Constitutional studies, followed by attending The University of California, Berkeley in English Journalism.
